An ode to all things to come. Probably not, but at least I got my hair and new website done.

I thought I saw a bunny but it was actually a fox. It made me realize, there aren't many bunnies in this area.

When starting a new story, its best to pick your core characters. Making profiles can be like a character's resume but it can be rather 2D at times. Want to flesh out a character quick? Look up a list of questions, imagine how that character would respond to you.

This helps the process. It may even let you see potential conflicts in the cast early on.

Its always important to check twice when cutting a pattern if you like to sew. I'm guilty of cutting a pattern out quickly and cutting it wrong because there's a lens over my eyes already looking at the final product.

I don't talk about my injury often, I try to keep it chill and positive on my page. However,

Upon getting injured, the changes I've had to make in my lifestyle have been significant. Cooking a meal without pain can be a challenge. Learning to adjust how one lives with a nerve injury can be quite exhausting both mentally and physically when you're built to be an All star player.

The moments of self gaslighting and pushing through despite clearly feeling the pain in simple, everyday movements can be really frustrating. The adjustment period I'm undergoing plus additional legalities have led me to a new pace in my life, where fast pace is no longer the best pace. Everyday is an adjustment but as long as I'm living, it's a blessing that I'm doing my best to be grateful for.

Life is full of tongue tying moments, we just have to do our best to roll with the punches - cause most of us common people can't afford bionic spines so yeah- keep going

For me, being self aware coupled with internalizing and an injury that is currently keeping me from working in an industry, has brought me a new set of hurdles. Or maybe I should say, some old complex issues I never had to sit with until there was nothing I could do but sit at home.

Spending hours upon hours endlessly scrolling can really have an effect on one's mental health. Here's a gentle check in reminder if you get overwhelmed by what you see.
