While editing my manuscript. I used the ai known as "Type" (type.ai is the website) to look over my book and was pleasantly surprised how thorough it was. This isn't a sponsored post, but it helped me to realize that the word "smile" was used over 55 times.
I was shocked. So I took time out to go correct these many uses. I found out, there are very few synonyms for the word "Smile". I found the word Rictus, which has several different meanings, depending on what you search.
Rictus
a fixed grimace or grin
frozen or fake smile
scary smile
Ultimately, it's a kind of horrified, involuntary grin.
The smile a person makes when they are met with something unexpected.
Just a little vocabulary expansion for today. I haven't gotten a craving to cook and I forgot to take a picture of my broccoli, white gravy, sausage and cheese breakfast.
Keep breathing life,
Sheridan
